SCENERY THEATRICAL INSTALLATION: A CUP OF SUGAR

FULL GROUND FOUNDATION / STORYTELLING FESTIVAL

Design and realization scenery at the Garage Notweg in Amsterdam New West

The installation invites the visitor in an intimate setting to listen to the stories of the women. After each story he gets an object or ingredient for a cup of tea. At the end of the tour, the visitors join together to drink their tea and get in touch with each other.

The scenery is made out of pictures of the building days of Osdorp on one side, pictures of the windows of the women that had been intervieuwd on the other, hundereds of old pavement tiles from Osdorpplein and a dozen surveying poles reaching from floor to ceiling.
