THE WASHED UP CITY

The washed up city is part of 'the archive of the inbetween'. This ungoing project contains a collection of works that deal with transition, migration and repurposing. It is a "work in process" based on research into the history of places and people that are in motion. The NDSM shipyard in Amsterdam North is one of the places included in the archive. The washed up city consists of a series of architect -ural forms made from washed plastic crates, found between the basalt blocks next to the ferry at the shipyard.
