EPIFYT; DIA TUTU + BOSSI ANNANASI

In the beginning of 2017, I stayed with my family for three months in Moengo, Suriname. Here we lived and worked during an artist in residency at the Tembe Arts Studio, an initiative of Marcel Pinas.
One of the projects I worked on concerns a series of photos of selfmade epifitic plants. Parasites are plants that benefit from other plants; Epiphytes also grow on living plants, but do not extract food from them. Both plants cooperate without misusing the other.
